Thus says the Lord God, because you said Aha! over My sanctuary when it was profaned, & over the land of Israel when it was made desolate & over the house of Judah when they went into exile, therefore behold, I am handing you over to the people of the East for a possession & they shall set their encampments among you & make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit & they shall drink your milk. I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels & Ammon a fold for flocks. Then you will know that I am the Lord. And I will cut you off from the peoples & will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I AM THE LORD0!!! Ez. 25:2-7 There were times in raising my children that I have corrected their behavior & taught them the correct ways. They would be immediately obedient but then some time would go by & they would forget & do the same things as before, each time punishment would be more severe. Not because I was mean or didnt love them, quite the opposite. I knew if they continued in disobedience they wouldnt do well in life. The lessons they refuse to learn are still costing them today. Same with me....& you. I read the scripture above and can see its happening in our nation right now. Read it again & look closely at whats happening all around us. Whether you like it or not, we are reaping the fruit of our disobedience & irreverence. Father. Forgive us, we really dont know what were doing.
