******** Tibro Summit Track Open ******** The tourist track up the west side of Tibro is now open. The Minister for NPRSR, Steve Dickson, officially opened the track today. I freely admit that I have kicked-up pretty hard against the closures in Glasshouse, but credit where credit is due. The fact that the Minister fronted the television cameras for the reopening of the Tibro track is a very visible measure of the departments commitment to climbing access, and the wishes of the climbing community. Id like to thank the Minister and all the folks in QPWS that worked to bring this matter to a successful conclusion. Warning: There may be some television footage of me muttering inconsequentially. However, AJ was also interviewed and Im sure he will be making a lot more sense than me. :-)
