The City of Kirkland uncorks its signature summer festival, Kirkland Uncorked, July 18-20, 2014, in Marina Park on the shores of Lake Washington. The event serves as the perfect three-course menu highlighting the very best of Washingtons food and wine. The three-course menu takes festivalgoers on a journey through the Eastsides epicurean landscape. Course One - Fridays Burger Brawl: a foodie slider showdown for the Eastsides best burger The Main Course - a Saturday buffet of Restaurant Sampling, Grilling Competition, and Grilling Demonstrations: a showcase of the Eastsides best chefs serving up a taste of Kirkland Course Three - Sundays Food Truck Feast: a one-day foodie feast of the areas best mobile kitchens The festival serves as a sommelier for the three-course menu. Twenty wineries bring an eclectic blend of whites and reds to serve as a perfect compliment to the weekends tastes. In addition to the three-course menu and extensive wine list, the festival features exciting ala cart entertainment and shopping. The Northwests favorite bands will entertain festivalgoers on the QFC Stage. The all-ages Street Fair features an expansive Craft Market, the Uncorked Boat Show, and the CityDog Magazine Cover Dog Model Contest. Tickets are now on sale for Kirkland Uncorked at an early bird discount. New to the festival is the Ultimate Wine Admission, providing the festivalgoer an all-you-can-sample-of-wine entry to the event. Ticket prices range from $20-$60.
