OzLand: Tupelo, MS Screening January 20th 7:30 Malco OzLand — the independent feature film by award-winning Mississippi filmmaker Michael Williams — is on tour OzLand, the first full-length feature film written, directed and produced by West Point native Michael Williams — writer/director of the short films Lukos, Illumination and Kane — is embarking on a multi-city tour of screens in Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama in late January through February of this year. OzLand is the story of two wayfarers wandering aimlessly in a dry and dusty post-apocalyptic world until one of them discovers a copy of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in an abandoned school. Using the world around him to interpret what he reads, Leif allows the book to challenge the beliefs, friendship and even the very survival of these two divergent travelers.
