Tienden... Tithe... a very misunderstood and abused subject. Tithing is absolutely abolished at the cross, as are all the other laws and ceremonies of the first covenant that served as a prefiguration of what was to come. Even if now the tithes where to been practiced properly it would have been impossible. The four type of tithes according to the bible; 1. Self tithe: taking a tenth of the yearly income of the land (oil, grain etc.),consuming it with your household in Jerusalem (because there God chose to establish His name and celebrating of the feasts), 2. Yearly tithe for the fatherless, stranger and widow within your gates. 3. Every 3 years a tithe for the Levites (who served in the temple and therefor did not own any land to produce any food) 4. The levites provide a tithe for the priest of the temple (Aarons descendants),from their received tithe. Malachi 3:10; the infamous lie that has tricked so many into paying churchbuildings (what has now become a buisiness), speaks to the Levites and not to the regular congegration for they were not aqcuired to give tithe to the priests. The Levites were robbing God in not giving tithes to the priest! So in order to ever practice these tithing, you must have found descendants of Aaron, and the Levites and on top of that rebuild the temple so they can be in permanent service to the Lord......... And besides, as we all know that the bible clearly states that we are the temple of the Lord and that everything (the customs and rituals) from the old covenant, a prefiguration was of what was to come.
