Tii-ra-ta-ta-ra-taa, tii-ra-ta-ta-ra-taa, tii-ra-ta-ta-ra-taa... ... Balt..Baltazar, Balt..Baltazar... ... These are just only 2 melodies of many written by extraordinary talented musician Tomica Simović. It is a sad news that reached us today. He passed away on Thursday, age 83. He had this special talent to make memorable melodies. I am pretty sure, he would do great pop music, if he only he wanted to.. Luckily for animation, he preferred to do music for films which are nowadays well known as classics of Zagreb school of animation. Films which wouldnt be what they are without his great contribution. He was capable of writing a tune, send it thru the air right into your ear, and make it stay there. Tii-ra-ta-ta-ra-taa, tii-ra-ta-ta-ra-taa, tii-ra-taa...
