Time practice got tougher Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Its time we put away the blocking sleds. Put away the cages the OL just fires out of low (silly anyway) and start knocking heads. We got to get tougher and play with more discipline on both sides of the ball. Its time we find out who wants to PLAY. The coaches need to walk into the dressing room tomorrow and tell them FULL GEAR today. QBs put your white jersey on, your fair game today and from here on until we learn to play. If you cant walk, run or breath, leave those BLACK jerseys in here. RS is off everyone from here on. If you want to play you can earn a spot now if youre not a starter on either side of the ball or on ST. You got 15 Min. to get loose. I want the first team Offense on one side of the ball and the first team Def. on the other side. Were going live for 60 min. and I want the second and third team players doing the same. Walk on and scout team players be ready if your name is called. Any starter or anyone else that wants to loaf around and not give 100%, you will be replaced by either a second or third team player and even a walk on or scout team player. Its 100% from everyone or the door. Coaches you can start doing the same with your coaching. 100% or hit the damn road. First time a player on any team makes a stupid mistake like a fumble or jump off sides or gets a stupid flag thrown on them ,the whole team drops for 50 push ups. Next time it goes to 75. The third time we stop practice and the whole team just runs the stadium steps. Get mean, tougher or lose your job. All positions are still up for grabs guys, so you first team and second team players, you have been warned. 6 games into the year and were making silly mistakes that you may see in game one or two. Its time they (the so call 4 and 5 star players) stepped up and showed the so call star rating system was correct about them. If not enjoy the PINE or the highway. I know some of the players are doing good jobs, but sometimes you just have to come down on the whole team. Football is a team game. Its like the Military, ever unit has to be hitting on the same page and thats from the players (or soldiers and there leaders in the military) to the coaches.They do this for about two weeks, you will fined out who the true LEADERS are on this team. You will find out if the so call STAR rating thing was correct or did we miss on these kids, I dont think so. I think these kids are true 4 and 5 star players. They need a wake up call and the loss to OM didnt do it. So lets go back to the old days of hard tough nose practices. I think its time for a GUT check on all of them and some of our COACHES. Hope I didnt piss anyone off, but sick of watching what I saw last night from the press box, to the sideline and to the field.
