If a makeup weekend is required the Barnard Cup final will be December 7th. If this format continues in 2014 – 15, a reversal of home games is a logical format for Barnard and Times Cup. The Times Cup is a 6 game league. The winner will be the league winner after six games It should be noted that November 9th and November 30th are BC Premier and BC Ceili’s league makeup weekends. If those weekends are required by VIRU clubs (CW, JBAA, and UVIC), this will take precedence over a Barnard or Times Cup game. Times Cup: The Times Cup is a Division 1 competition and in the spirit of this competition, the team a club fields for any match should be a genuine Division 1 team. On Times Cup match days where a club playing at the VIRU Elite / BCRU Premier level does not have a match for their top team, the Division 1 team should not include any of the 15 players that would have started for the Elite / Premier team had that team been scheduled for a game that day. The VIRU will not request rosters to enforce this principle but will rely on the goodwill of clubs to field teams which respect the spirit of this guideline.
