Timmi Hutchings attributes her “Full Throttle” moniker to her riding style — fast and hard. The 14-year-old Hutchings utilized this philosophy to qualify for the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyo., July 14-20. She is competing in barrel racing, and though this will be Hutchings’ fourth go-round in the national spotlight, it is her first time competing as a high schooler. During the Idaho State High School Finals Rodeo, June 10-14, the Snake River High School freshman finished in second place in barrel racing with a combined qualifying time of 67.162. “I was really happy because I’m the youngest freshman competing against a bunch of seniors, so I was glad I made it,”
