Tipping is a typical American tradition well rooted within the central pillars of capitalism. It is a microcosmic manifestation of how capitalism in its true sense can hurt our morals and dent the image of the hospitality industry. As it has became a common practice around the turn of the century, it is considered as a simple a gratuity for voluntary services well beyond the call of duty. It is seen as a natural compensation for good spirit and good heart, in the firm belief that a good deed should never go unrewarded. What if its done forcefully? Do you support tipping?
