Tipsy Watermelon Margarita Poptails I made these a few years back for a Mexican themed party. I am not a tequila fan, but these were really good! You could also substitute Vodka if you have bad tequila memories from college and youd rather not go there :) Ingredients: - 5 cups seedless watermelon (about 1/2 of a large watermelon) - 3/4 cup lime juice - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/2 cup tequila - 4 limes - Margarita or other coarse salt Tools: - 10 5-ounce Dixie cups - Short popsicle sticks or craft spoons Method: -Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and sugar is dissolved. -Strain through a fine sieve, you will be left with about 5 cups of juice. -If using Dixie cups, prepare limes by slicing 3 thick slices from the middle section of each lime. Insert short popsicle sticks through center of limes. You will then place these on top of popsicle mixture in each Dixie cup. -Divide popsicle mixture between Dixie cups or popsicle molds. Top with lime popsicle sticks. Freeze overnight and sprinkle with margarita salt before serving. Enjoy!
