Tired of masochistic people on facebook who are either disabled, pregnant, or carrying a child boarding a public train. In their posts they would say dia tengok je kita. Bukan nk bangun offer seat. People, I believe you should know your own rights first, before expecting others to give you your rights. There is nothing shameful in asking dik akak ni mengandung/patah kaki/ade pegang anak. Nk duduk boleh?. Just act as if those people did not realize youre a priority. There were many times in many places when I got too tired of standing or felt dehydrated in trains, I asked for a seat, and I was never turned down. And I was never a disabled passenger! Yes some of them might be ignorant, or they are simply foreigners who dont apply our civil norms. Dont expect people to look at you and understand all of your problems. Its better to speak on the train rather than on facebook. And yes, if you see a pregnant woman standing, please be her hero THERE. Dont be a hero on virtual social networks.
