Tired, very very tired this morning. You see I/we spent over four hours in the ER yesterday after Deb wiped out on her bike between two parked cars. She bounced off the bumper and severely bruised her ribs on the left side, then proceeded to slam her head into the blacktop and puncture her head between her eye and temple. Ive never seen so much blood come out of one persons head. By the time the bleeding was stopped at the hospital her hair, shirt, the neck brace put on, and two large 18 x 18 pads wear soaked with her blood. It took me almost an hour to get 95% of the blood out of her hair in the shower last night when we finally did get home. Shes resting comfortably right now, and she is fine for the most part, but she looks like she went ten rounds in a boxing ring. Her left eye is swollen shut, black, blue, green, and purple. The Dr. said that the whole side of her face could swell as well, because of the meds shes on, so well have to wait and see. This morning Im going to try and get a comb/brush through her hair and get the rest of the dried blood out.......Well I guess Ill play a game or two now and try to get my mind off this.....
