Title: The Scratch Submitted by: Anonymous So this was my personal experience that happened to me. Right now, Im 14 years old, and these things have happened to me ever since I was 11. They continued to happen over these past years but only once in a while. This is the first experience. When I was 11, I was dating this Xiong dude, but we had some problems and broke up. At that time, I was extremely depressed that it was all my fault. Thats why I lost him. I always asked myself when was I going to find someone who loved me and accepted me. Since it was my first break up, I was always down and dingo things less cheerfully than I usually do. Whenever I sing a song, it was always a sad song, and I would cry along. My mother considered this as, Seev Seev. One night, I dreamed of me standing next to my ex. Then there was this other guy who came and said to me, Come. If he doesnt love you, then come with me, and Ill love you. He then grabbed me by my left hand and took me away, but as we walked away from my ex, I woke up. That day when I was in school, I didnt remember doing anything to scratch myself. But at the end of the day when I was playing with my pencil, I looked at my left arm thinking about the dream. There were 3 scratches, and it didnt look normal. The scratches looked like it was peeled off. Usually, when I get scratch, my skin would turn white then red, and it would swell after awhile. I used my pencil and scratched myself, but it left a red scratch mark. Then I went to my locker and scratched myself with it, but it turned white then swelled. I thought this was strange but didnt seem to care. When I got home, I showed my mom the 3 scratches, and it was more noticeable than before. In Hmong she said, Why is it like this? I replied, Idk. I was playing with my pencil and saw it. She asked me if I scratched myself, and I replied no. I even told her that I used my pencil and locker to scratch myself and see if it matched the scratch, but no. My mom had this worried yet confused look on her face, but I was careless and walked away. That night she was on the phone with my auntie and was talking about what happened earlier. My aunt said her brother was a shaman so shed contact him and ask him to see what was up. She gave her brother our phone number so he could contact us about the information. When he called he said that I Raug Dab Tshau tshuag - Idk how to write that in English nor am I sure its correct in Hmong. My apologies. He said he had hidden my spirit for an amount of time, so we needed to do jingle bell for me ASAP. My mother then started having these dreams of random people coming up asking about my name and dreams that guys are coming to marry me. My mom always woke up with fear next to me (because I shared a bed with her). She cut peach branches and made an X on all of the doors and windows. She also made me the white and red necklace, but it was thicker and tied it around my neck. Couple of days later, I was on the computer and felt my necklace sliding off my neck as if it had broke. As I quickly yanked it, it caught on the back of my neck. I ignored the strange feeling and left my necklace alone. Minutes later, the same feeling occurred, but as before I yanked it, and it was stuck. When my mother came back from asking a shaman to do the ritual, I told her to take off my necklace because it kept bothering me and felt like it was falling off. My mom, Shhh me and said Some people want to brake your necklace. And I was like Who? She just said, Shhh, dont even ask. Then she cut off the necklace the following week and tied it under the kitchen table. She said it keeps me from going anywhere. About 2 months after those unusual experiences, we did the ritual. Everything was back to normal. My mother also wouldnt let me sing nor cry for those months. She had treated me just like a princess, with that soft assuring voice and even brought the food to me. Sorry that this was a long story. Im sorry if you guys werent entertained, but I just wanted to share my haunting experience. Reviewed and posted by PSV
