To All Naples Bears Players... both current and former; and families and fans : Our Program has had outstanding results over the past nine years. Ranking 6th Nationally 2011( with continued top ranking every year since ) ; capturing Seven State Titles- Championships and a U.S.A. South Championship 2011 ( while that program existed ) all great accomplishments. The trips ; the memories ; bonds ; camaraderie ; life lessons ; challenges wins-loses can never be summed up in simple words. We have seen boys become men...learn to channel their frustration , and determination into action and results. A focus..determined towards goals...where NONE of US is AS STRONG as ALL of US ! So many come-back, from behind Wins, ( especially remembered the State Championship game of April 14,2007 versus Jupiter when they- Jupiter- were up 20 points at half time and we came back and won 32-24 !! and many more..) So many great athletes that learned how to give it all and be a total team player. Many players have gone on to other great accomplishments both on and off the pitch and still stay in touch . It has been a very rewarding experience for all...the players, families, fans and coaches...and the community !! We always involved the community and schools over the years. Well the reason for the note here, is that we have had another milestone for the club, team and Rugby community. One of our own has made it to the pinnacle of the sport. To be an Official U.S.A. Eagle and where the emblem on his chest. Cameron Dolan has been in the system ever since high school since 2007. Six years later and wining College National Championships and getting scholarships to play at Life U. and now graduating with all those achievements, he now get to represent the highest level we have from the U.S.A. . He is at the top of his Game, and not only helped us with our own Naples Bears Championship in that 2007 game he was an enormous factor in bringing home the trophy. It does not happen every day to the normal person to have that many events of top achievements in one life ..whether it be school , sports ,work...to attain the record he has is simply outstanding. He has played with many others that have added to his career and we all celebrate his success. He has risen to the challenge and remained a humble player with lots to offer. He has learned to be an ultimate team player...We are proud of him and happy not just for him , also for his family...that has supported him on his journey. We have asked Coach Reed to post his Bio from U.S.A. Rugby where it lists his High School team...and there we are...the NAPLES BEARS !! The Lord has blessed this young man and we are all grateful for his and all the others accomplishments...In fact, every so often we will print out..a where they are now piece ... on different Alumni, so you all can appreciate the various developments of past and present players ...after all we are all still a Team...We are 15 yet we are 1.
