To PARENTS AND DAUGHTERS AND SONS: Kids all make mistakes. Kids mess up. ( When we are young, we do stupid things, silly things) Part of growing up is to eat the fruit of their action. Because in life there are consequences to actions and consequences to every decisions. We have to learn to act not to react. We have to learn past disappointed. We have to learn to help them. Lets not put unrealistic expectation on them. Yelling will not bring up change. Sit down and be calm. Control your emotions. Give them a dialogue not a monologue. A child who is not talking is not listening. Dont crucify your children with your reputation. Grace determines decisions not shame. Never to do to your child: 1. Never send your children away. (Grab and hold your children. And love them) 2. Never get mad and do nothing. (Discipline is consequences) 3. Never practice rebuke and toleration. (Restrain them properly. Behavior cannot be tolerated) Parents need to do: 1. Sit down and reason with them. Keep calm and take control of your emotions. (Be calm and restrain yourself. Im gonna listen) 2. Forgive them and let them grow. 3. Forget it. (Dont keep nagging them about their mistakes) We need forgiveness to move on ;) Lastly, Listen to Mom and Dad. Listen to someone who sacrifice for you. (Who sacrifice for you to have a house, gadgets, etc) © Pastor - Now I see things better. They are overprotective of us because what messed up things we will do, make the parents see and feel they failed to be a parent to us. They care for us unconditionally. And sometimes we took it for granted. I thank everyone who is overprotective on me. I know Im cared and loved unconditionally. No thank you and I love you can equal what I want to say. I now see your side. And it amaze me how much you care for me. Know that Ill try to be a better person from now on, a mature one too :)
