To: Residents of St. Marys I would like to thank everyone whom participated in the election that took place on November 5th, 2013. Those that exercised or attempted to exercise their right to vote are definitely the cream of the crop, whether or not their vote was cast for me or my opponent. The fact that you exercised your democratic right by voting shows that you are truly concerned about your community and the direction that our government is headed. Special thanks to those that spent long hours walking the neighborhoods door to door, placing campaign signs in yards, working the polls on election day, and making other contributions towards my candidacy for City Council. Your unwavering support, even through inclement weather and other obvious obstacles has not gone unnoticed, and I will forever be in your debt. The results of this election may not have produced my constituents with the goal that we were seeking, but has oddly enough provided my wife and I with a blessing. We have reignited friendships with those whom we have not seen for some time and forged new relationships with others whom we’ve just met along the campaign trail.
