To all Single young Mothers I know how you feel when the father of the baby refuses to play his part, when he refuses to contribute to the financial wellbeing of your baby when he has so much more to spare, when he cannot even make time to come hold your amazing God given creation or worse deny her/him altogether. I know it hurts so much but you smile through the tears and laugh through the pain so that your baby does not see what you are going through. I know there are times when you are irritated and just wish to be alone but she demands your attention. First you sulk, then you sigh, then you look at her and she smiles making the most amazing blessing in the world. She warms your heart, lightens your mood and brings a smile to yourself. You talk to her like she can understand you, have a conversation with her like she is responding and then you watch her grow up. There is no greater rewarding feeling I suppose than that building of a bond between a mother and child. Being a single mother must be tough. I see so many young girls struggle through it and to them I say I envy your fighting spirit and your strength. I envy the courage you show in raising something so fragile and beautiful on your own. I envy the dignity in which you turn from a girl to into a phenomenal young woman as you work on Gods gift to you. God bless you ... You gonna make it through.. ✽✽✽Womans month✽✽✽
