To all my Facetracker friends..you are my friends because i trust you and you truly are my friends...now I really need your advice..You all know that i have recently started work at a new pub in Gosport and have this week settled in to my regular shift 7-2 mon to friday.(was given this shift because my youngest daughter,15 still lives with me)...happy days..weekends off..game on..my role at moment is storeman,prep and assistant breakfast baby chef.(at 52,love it).i am just a kitchen assistant(title) at the moment but am really loving it..when everything settles down they want me to do the Marstons line chef course,where i will learn to be a proper chef(ok its a pub..but you know what i mean),everyone that knows me well knows what this means to me..its my passion..cooking..HOWEVER..checked my emails tonight and now have massive spanner in works...those that know me well,know that my other passion is History..At the same time i applied for the Pub i also applied for a new role at Portsmouth University to be a student support mentor...what does this mean?..for the 3 year course i would support a Physically handicapped student through his tenure at University..I would attend lectures,seminars,take notes,take dictation and write all his thoughts onto paper but have NO personnal imput..quite right,hes the student.. and generally help the student through University life..A position has arisen where a History Student needs such a person and ive been invited to meet him next month to see if we are right for each other..So guys and gals..what do I do..I have to let Uni Know by next week...you guys need to help me...
