To all my awesome Friends in Facebook land: You may be tired of hearing me preach the gospel here on fb. Some of you may even be offended by endtime headlines, biblical prophecies, gory news about the Christian massacres/persecution in Iraq, Nigeria, Syria etc and the numerous words of wisdom, encouragement, bible verses, motivational verses all about God, every single day and night that Im online in fb. This is just a social network and you might say not everyone is really listening. Still, the alternative social media like facebook and twitter has been a powerful tool to uphold humanitarian causes, reunite long lost relatives, even lost pets to their owners, it also brings unbiased news so unlike the government controlled mainstream media like CNN, BBC, Fox, MSN. Facebook is a double edged sword. It can both build you up or pull you down. Suicides from cyberbullying in fb are not uncommon. Bills had been filed to Senate to counter cybercrimes but only cutting edge technology in the 1st World Countries have that luxury. Its a powerful tool, in itself it just depends on how you use it to your own advantage or for a greater purpose, or the greater good or for a cause. There will come a time when your Christian friends/relatives will no longer bother you with their annoying messages of repentance, heaven and hell. You will no longer hear them preach in fb, twitter or even in person etc. You will no longer hear them invite you to their churches or cellgroups/caregroups/bible studies or evangelistic events or activities. No they have not stopped because they got tired of loving you. They will only stop the day Jesus comes back and takes them home. Friends, your imperfect christian friends love you deeply from our hearts. We want to be with you on the day that Jesus comes back. We are also accountable to Jesus, Our Savior and Master on the Day of Reckoning, the Judgement seat when everything that weve done(good and bad) for Him will be taken into account. We dont want to hear the master say, if you love me why did you let your friends and relatives go to hell. I loved them and specifically positioned you in their lives, to partner with you with my plan of redemption to reach them!!! We are secured of this glorious hope and eternal security in His promises. We can be satisfied to know that Jesus saved us and be comfortable but then again that will be a lie from the pits of hell itself. Unless we bring the gospel to people so they would come into His saving knowledge, then we are not really saved ourselves. For indeed, the heartbeat of Jesus is just one- Souls! Stop running away from this glorious and relentless love. Jesus loves you dearly and so do I. Your facebook friend in Christ Jill
