To all of the athletes who Ive coached, trained, or just counseled, and whove heard me pounding excellence always in your ears. Heres one of my former youth league players who certainly got the message throughout his young journey. This is what hard work within Gods Blessings produces. This young man is now an NCAA National Champion and USATF National Champion in the 110m hurdles as a True Freshman in college at the University of Oregon. I expect BIG things from Devon Allen, and look forward to him dazzling the world at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil. By the way, in winning the 2014 NCAA National Championship he ran the 2nd fastest time EVER in the history of the NCAA. I know you must be extremely proud Louis and Joey; as am I to have been able to be one of his coaches during the process... There are a number of athletes Ive coached, including my own son Tre, who are now making their marks in college. They all received the same instruction and messaging from me and others who were strategically placed in their paths by their parents/guardians: Never do ordinary things, and expect extraordinary results...So, in all that you do, give it 100% effort, and always do it with enthusiasm! What time is it? Showtime! #letsgetit
