To all of us who have served, often without thanks, to those who suffered through being called baby killers and warmongers, to those who sacrificed so much for the grateful and ungrateful alike, I salute you. For all the shit we had to go through and put up with, so that people who have no concept of what we suffer with can have the god damn freedom to deride our chosen calling, I say this: Thank a veteran and mourn our fallen. They dont ask for it, and they deserve so much more.
