To all our amazing customers: Im sorry to say it would seem we have had a malicious review on Trip Advisor; we would like to share our response with you all. Dear Greg TA response Congratulations on your first review; and hopefully your last for the sake of hard working business owners; who could do without your malicious intentions. We are closed early in the week when you stated you ate at gusto - so having reviewed our trading figures for later in the week: they were average and therefore never was there a 30 minute wait. Yes I have a beard that I am growing for a local charity; this has no reflection on hygiene standards to which we have been awarded 5 out if 5 by the Environmental Health and, moreover gold for our counties CHEFS Award ( Cornwall Healthier Eating and Food Safety) - which is the highest award possible when first gained. Both these awards were achieved with a beard and are on display in the shop; displaying of which is a legal requirement. As you probably know some other local business have VERY low scores. Yes we are nice people, who enjoy a very strong rapport and customer base amongst our local and tourist audiences. My question is - why in this case did you not feel able to return to the shop with your issue? If it was so offensive why wait to make a faceless response which will not get you a replacement, refund or opportunity to provide feedback face to face with nice people? Now as for value; Cornish slow cooked pomegranate molasses pork served on a fresh baked homemade Flat bread, with homemade salads and sauces. All this for £4.25??? Firstly check out our competitor prices which are all higher, and secondly Look to the other gusto reviews who all cite Value, quality, different and service as the lynch pins for our well deserved reputation and success. As this is your first review I can only assume two things; 1, Wow; It is without question a malicious review probably sponsored by a competitor. 2, you will probably not make another review, unless it is about a another newquay based competitor and your friend asks you to do so.
