To clarify matters - it is the sale of UNBRANDED horses that was halted. The others are on a road to hell. This is due to the unbranded horses being from federally protected land and wild horses, it my understanding. Here is more - We must continue to fight for all horses everywhere! My heart breaks for the others~ *tears* How can people be so cruel and heartless to their fellow creatures? Our horses deserve better than this~ UPDATE from #FallonSlaughter: We inspected every horse and found 43 additional unbranded horses. Total of 113 unbranded horses have been pulled from the auction. We saw many lame horses, spinal injuries, two orphaned foals whose mothers were killed here, chest gashes. Most of the branded horses are headed for slaughter -- kill buyers are here in force. Their nightmare is just beginning. This is hell right here for horses.
