To everyone who worked at Nashua Mobile, I want to encourage you this morning! I want you to remember that you were handpicked when you were appointed at Nashua Mobile, and when you were appointed because your reflected values of Commitment, Respect and Integrity! Maybe you did not have all the degrees to have made the team…BUT you did make the team because you had the right mix of ATTITUDE the Nashua Mobile leadership were looking for to build a very successful team and brand! So when you go out there to find a new job…YOU remember who are!!! YOU were the one taking that difficult call from the client, YOU were the one phoning that client back, YOU were the one breaking your back to exceed the customer and leadership expectations, YOU were the one that truly cared about every customer. YOU were the one that made target every month not because it was expected of you, but because that is who you are!!! YOU were the one that faced constant changes and hardship and still stood behind the leadership, not because you were forced to but because you believed with all you’ve got that, that was what the leadership deserved! So when you go on for your first interview after Nashua Mobile, YOU better REMEMBER who you ARE, as you have been here ONCE before!!! Do not let the interviewer make you feel utterly useless, incompetent and unqualified!!! YOU must remember that YOU have been through much tougher days then these! Today and every day when you go for an interview, YOU REMEMBER who YOU ARE! So lift up your head, dress up, show up and SHOW everyone including yourself, YOU have everything it takes to again build a great team and even stronger brand…BECAUSE that is WHO WE ARE!!! To Vodacom, MTN, CELL C, Virgin Mobile, Telkom Mobile and ALL Recruiters! You should be asking the leadership of Nashua Mobile access to all staff becoming available to the industry now. You should be fighting to get the Nashua guys/girls…ok team part of YOUR TEAM! Please ask why??? This is why!!! The Nashua Mobile team have had the privilege to work under the best leadership in the industry is SA, such as Mark Taylor, Allan Knot-Graig, Dr. Douglas Mattheus, Barry Venter, Greg Burrow and Selwyn Newman to name a few. Nashua Mobile have consistently produced the best skilled staff in the industry. NM staff have learned to do the best with what they have with very limited budgets, competing against the giants in the industry, NOTHING stopped us from doing our part. At NM we learned to find a solution to a problem, NOT to be part of the problem. NM team built an extremely high value corporate client base, and these clients were very well looked after by NM team members. Relationships are formed with people NOT the brand NOT the company. GREAT people made a GREAT brand! Had the opportunity to work under these leadership again, we would do it in a heartbeat, as we believed in the vision, and we had an active role to play to achieve the vision. Most of the people worked 10, 15 years at NM…what a testimony to loyalty and commitment??!! We have served with leadership that knew our names, which had breakfast with us, that told us we are the best they have ever worked with! I salute you fellow Nashua Mobile team members!!! I salute you leadership of Nashua Mobile, we will once again go out there and make you proud!!! So dear Mr/ Miss Interviewer the next team you interview a Nashua Mobile ex employ, show some respect! This will most probably be the BEST candidate you will see ALL day! Perhaps you won’t be able to tick off all qualification boxes…BUT a Nashua Mobile team member has the CHIRP (commitment, honesty, respect and participation) values…something that perhaps 3 degrees combined cannot offer you! To all those who just want to post something negative…JUST shut up! Just don’t!!! This post is not for you! It’s for every person that has worked incredibly hard to add value to their respective teams!!! All the best Marlize
