To expound upon the title: c0da is the Ending Without End. Its derived from the musical term, coda. In music, this is a reiteration, or re-imagination, of the ending. In music, the coda acts as such: the music comes to a whole, complete finished sound, but its not quite over. The musicians are redirected to a sign in the music (del Seno) and proceed from the sign to the coda (al coda: del Seno al coda; from the sign to the new end). The coda is, often times, just like the finish that was already written and played, but its fundamentally different in some noticeable way; maybe where the original end was minor, the coda progresses through a relative major in its finality. Now: how does this apply to The Elder Scrolls and the work we do? The c0da is Ending Without End. Its the Unchanging Season of Change. c0da is your license to understand that the end isnt actually THE end; thats yours for the taking, yours for the making. C0DA was the ink upon the page that said, The Elder Scrolls universe was designed, at its roots, to be open source. Thus, the idea of canonicity is a moot one on these grounds. This doesnt mean, Nothing is justified and everything is permitted. Quite the contrary. It means that everything MUST be justified, else it has no place within our song, and well write over it, cancel out the minor with our major, turn the flat that brought down the key into a natural. This is OUR song, and it WILL be something of beauty. Something worth writing. Something worth singing until our Dream becomes Reality. c0da is not just allowed head-canon. c0da is living, breathing art. It grows with every key stroke. Every picture drawn on to its whole makes the final product something that much more colorful, something that much more perfectly disjointed, imperfectly absolute to look at. Every song composed for it adds to the resplendent cacophony that were somehow making perfect sense out of. c0da is pure creativity, pure creative force, pure CREATION. Its the Ending Without End, forever and ever.
