“To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” ― Buddha A note from Dr. D... To keep the body in good health, as the Buddha said is so important, maybe more difficult in todays world than in 500 BC. Maybe. For one, Im guessing obesity wasnt the fifth leading risk for global deaths back in his day. If youre perfectly fit and healthy and do NOT want to hear anything more about weight related stuff, stop reading. Because really, I dont blame you--Im sick of seeing all of the ridiculous nonsense out there too. Did you hear about the stuff you drink that is suppose to expand inside your stomach--like one of those dried up little alligator sponge toys you dunk into water and it grows to 5000 times it size? Apparently this stuff is similar; it expands so you literally cant eat anything for so many hours. Come on. Can we talk about whole health and wellness for a minute? It doesnt have anything to do with stuff like that. And I know you know this. But I also know that high fructose corn syrup is addictive. Life is rushed. Stress is a fact of life. Prepackaged food is quick and easy. And theres an overwhelming amount of conflicting and, frankly, bad advice about losing weight. Why not focus instead on how to be good to yourself, stay fit, and maintain a healthy weight? Okay, but even knowing whom to trust to guide you on that path can be a challenge. So Im going to share this information. Take it or leave it--I dont want for ONE SECOND you to think I am pushing a program or product on you. I know youre hip to those shenanigans anyway. Ill just say that I know and trust Food that is grown from Mother Earth. It is the real deal, and the Bible teaches a practical, whole-person approach thats smart and effective. BIBLE= Best Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Dr. D
