To make big money in the labour union game, you always have to be on your toes, assess the risks and take every opportunity to hop up the pay scale with a better job. I play a tight game with OJ to make sure Im getting the best out of them, but also do my best to minimize the grief I cause them by putting that pressure on. It aint easy, and sometimes I wonder if Ive gone too far- This last card I played yesterday may either reward me with a layoff, lol, or have me back in Ft Mac making the big bux!! I have a backup plan of a buddy in Cold Lake who wants to get me on their crew as soon as a spot opens up, so I took the extra risk in how I tried to strike a deal with the boss man. Ill find out how it went in the next couple of days, lol, but being the job in Fort Mac was taken off the board and nobody was dispatched there its sounding like Im fill :D Thatll be a huge win! I might even hop off this crew once my jeep is paid and vacation while studying the real estate courses until another Breezee Oil Sands job comes up! Then take what I get from that and bounce to Ontario once and for all.. until I can squeeze CR back in :P Play the game or get played by life!!!! God Bless
