To my healer- activists and healer-educators and healer-organizers. I know this crosses your mind as much as it does mine... What does it mean to be in a vocation of healing in a time where crises after crises after crises assails our people? Those of us who ascribe to critically conscious, radical and anti-imperialist, anti- white supremacist-capitalist-patriarchy politics are called into action ... What does action look like for us? I am just thinking of the ongoing & increasing genocidal assaults toward our people around the world and here in the Belly of the beast... As the radical Right gains more and more sway over the mainstream media and over national policy, and as this polarizes folks ever more into either becoming eitehr pandering or reactionary... What do you perceive as our role? All of this within a context of extreme environmental degradation that threatens ALL life on this planet, but especially our own... I would love your thoughts.
