To our veterans Well today I was delivering to a dollar general and saw a feeble elderly gentlemen and noticed he had a World War 2 hat on and I stopped for a minute and felt I should say something so I put my hand on his shoulder to get his attention and said thank you for serving He replied Im just glad Im here my classmate didnt make it. I think about that everyday. I said well God bless you sir. It felt good to tell him that but when he said what he said it pricked my heart and made me realize again how much sacrifice our military through Our countrys history has had to make. We may not see the sacrifices every time but they are there. So the next time u see a military personnel dont hesitate to thank them I ask Jesus bless our veterans and our current service members.
