To tell you a little about myself: I am a native of Clay County, - TopicsExpress

To tell you a little about myself: I am a native of Clay County, born and raised here. My family has lived in Clay County on the same farm for about six generations now. I graduated from Hayesville High School in 2007. Thereafter, I have been working for my father’s grading business, Nichols Construction Company Inc., which he has owned and operated here in the county for about 30 years and I have since become co owner. I also own and operate Nichols Cattle Company, which has grown to be one of the largest cattle farms in the area. I am a member of Moss Memorial Baptist Church which is where I met my wife Heather, whom I married in September of last year. I am interested in the position of county commissioner because I would like to see the people of Clay County have more of a say in the business of the county. I have always had the type of personality that I am open to the ideals and proposals of others. I believe that we should spend the time in the community collecting the opinions and insights of the citizens to make decisions that would best benefit the county as a whole. I feel that I have the ability and experience to make good, informed economic decisions for the county. Although it may seem that I’m young, I believe that my generation should start taking an interest in the future of Clay County. I believe with hard work and common sense we can secure the future of Clay County. The only promise I will make is to serve the people of Clay County to the absolute best of my ability. Your support will be greatly appreciated in November. Thank you, Randy Nichols Candidate for Clay County Commissioner
