Cardiovascular disease continues to be America’s No. 1 killer. Over 930,000 Americans lose their personal battle with cardiovascular disease each year (a portion of the 84 million that are affected). Although there have been significant gains through research and medical advancements over the last decade, statistics like these are very concerning due to the overall declining health status of Americans. The American Heart Association has taken a bold stand in its fight against heart disease and has announced a goal to dramatically impact this epidemic by the year 2020. Their 10-YEAR IMPACT GOAL which was announced in 2010 was to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent. To accomplish this goal, the AHA has expanded its focus to include preventative measures related to cardiovascular health. This is one of the reasons why they hold such amazing walks all over the United States to help bring awareness and education to our communities, developing ways to assist individuals in identifying health risk factors, and supporting opportunities that allow individuals to adopt healthy lifestyle choices. I wanted to share these stats so that you all could see that your efforts will never be taken in vain. Let us Pray: “Heavenly Father, I humbly come before Your throne of Grace and Mercy with a heart of praise and a spirit of worship. Thank You for orchestrating Kingdom Connection on our behalf. You always know what we need when we need it. Lord I am so grateful to You for loving us enough to correct our focus. I lift up the saints and decree a greater revelation of their place in You. Father, I thank You that more and more of Your children are desiring more of You and to walk worthy of the Vocation to which You have called them. Your word declares that You give seed to the sower, therefore as we go forth to sow in Your fields, what ever is needed to reach the unreachable You have provided. For in You there are no impossibilities. I thank You that all of our personal needs are being met and we have stepped over into the over flow. We acknowledge that we have been blessed to be a blessing. Now Lord, I speak strength to my co-labors in the gospel. Thank You Lord for Your Spirits of Love, Joy, Peace, Meekness, Temperance and Long Suffering working in their lives. I declare that The Holy Spirit is at work within them preparing for all that lies ahead. Unto You be all Glory and Honor now and forever more. In Jesus the Christ’s Name I pray.
