To the hundreds of you that called, emailed, texted and wrote on my wall & those very special ones that even sent cards for my birthday yesterday - THANK YOU! We all have busy lives and it means the world to me that even for a second you could stop to think of me on my day - overwhelmed each year by the love I have around me & cherish it dearly. Make it count, people....smile & hug someone. Oh and a short story....last night my sweet babygirl, Solange Rose (19 months) participated in her first act of giving last night & I can see she enjoyed it. After my, I lost count already, treat of dinner from my husband & daughter at Max Brenners, we saw two homeless people setting up their beds for the night in the Union Square area. We gave Solange Rose $5.00 and she very sweetly gave it to the couple - who, shockingly, fell in love with her (lol). Give a little, if you can....its better to share than to keep for yourself and I am so happy I married the man who walks with me, not against me, on all of these beliefs so we can raise a socially conscious, giving child who will contribute to the betterment of this world.
