To the man it seemed so sudden, the appearance of a hole in his boat, so far out at sea, and so he sucked the ocean through a wooden straw, to keep from sinking deeper. Buckled in and filling up, harvesting salt and sweating in sunlight, with wind dusting, and scooping sharply along his roughest skin, into a chalky trail of mineral insect, he violently colored the blue void. As the man sat fat and full of brine, salted like a round squishy stone on the bed of the now empty sea, he saw a perplexed and opportunistic albatross, inquiring over his pure form. They quickly shared true stories and became dear friends, and the bird feasted on many flopping fish never tasted, growing quite heavy and unable to take flight. The man began to feel queasy and so full of anger in his squelling belly, though he knew his friend would drown if he didnt return above, before releasing the great ocean swimming within. The man soon began to realize the enormity of his sorrow, once he slowly began to weep and seep milky rivers of salt and water, churning life into those who need it, while setting the wick against his new, and overwhelmingly genuine counterpart.
