To the question of the highway signs, I recieved a note from Stephen about the highway sign issue. It looks like we may be last but we have the chance to be best. From Stephen -I did initiate the process to get the highway signage started, and we budgeted the money for consultation and preliminary design. Money for the actual signage is forecast to come forward during the next term of council. Staff are having conversations with the MTO as well. As far as the actual design of what will be there, that has not been determined. I would encourage you to bring your cannon concept forward during the community consultation aspect, and I am sure others will have their submissions as well. From me -great thanks for getting started on , and yes the heritage arts group has something mind, i will present again then From Stephen PasseroThat would be my suggestion - once the process is outlined as to how the town will be seeking submissions from the public, come forward again. It will be a different council as well and may not have had the benefit of hearing your presentation the first time around.
