To whom it may concern: This is a statement from the committee of Drogheda Marsh Crescent FC whom would like to say with great sadness and regret the senior set up has folded. The senior set up was dismantled due to a number of reasons in which the committee would like to remain within the club. The senior set up was a big part of a long term plan in which the club would progress from. Unfortunately circumstances and the modern times in football in Drogheda has left the club with no option but to pull out of the Meathanddistrict League. The club and committee members would like to clarify a much needed point across that the schoolboy teams will remain and flourish even further under the umbrella of Drogheda Marsh crescent FC. The committee will work towards a long term plan working from the schoolboy upwards and take their time in putting a more stable structure in place for the future. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have been involved in the club over the past number of years. The club will move in the right direction, build from the schoolboys and the committee will focus their energy into the schoolboy setup.
