Today Bambi was to go see a psychologist in order to satisfy the SS disability criteria. We got there on time at 9am. I filled out the papers and we waited, all the while Bambi got more and more restless and agitated. I told the receptionist she was getting very hard to hold there. Finally right around 10am, one hour later, they came out to get her and by then she was extremely agitated and refused to go in and instead walked out the front door. She tried to get in my car and I kept trying to persuade her to go back in and even called a couple of her best friends to help coax her. She remained upset and just wanted to go home. She is so unpredictable in her behavior. I asked the doc if they would let her come back if her disposition improved today but he said no, that he was booked. I dont know what will happen now. Dont know if they will allow her to try again. I wish they would send someone over to my house to do this. She really needed to be evaluated and get on disability. Shes getting harder to handle every day. Please help us to see this as an opportunity and not a huge disappointment. Really thats all I can see right now….
