Today David begins week five of his chemo and radiation. One more week after this for a total of six weeks. He has tolerated the treatments well with no side effects other than losing his hair. After treatments they will run scans and another MRI to determine how effective the treatments have been on his tumor. The fear of the unknown is ever present and scary beyond words, but the fact is that there are so many faithful friends and family walking right along beside us, lifting up prayers on our behalf and this makes each step a little easier. Please continue to pray for David and Madilon each day. Why should I feel discouraged, Why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely and long for Heavn and home when Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. I sing because Im happy, I sing because Im free, for His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.
