Today I am feeling emotional. There is an eclipse brewing which is helping that along (for more information see my astrology page The Singing Astrologer. My husband, who is a light worker and works in a large organisation, has just had to suspend someone for gross misconduct. She was escorted off the premises by someone who described her state as the most likely person hed ever seen to commit suicide. Sorry for not keeping it light and all but we are in eclipse season and that means drama, births, marriages, deaths and rebirth. Last night Tom and I went to bed and thought about what we could do to help this person. Dont we all have a duty of care, of compassion if someone is struggling - if someone is desperate? We cant just ignore that surely? I woke up at 4am to a golden light in the room and a voice saying no one gets left behind. And it was such a beautiful reminder and comfort that I wanted to wrap it into a song - so I have and Ive just taped it. Tom and I will record a proper version of it for the next album. There is great beauty out there and hope. Lets give ourselves and others as much love as we can. Namaste, Charlie xx
