Today I am thankful for: OUR TROOPS! all of my friends, family, and brothers and sisters in that fight for the freedoms that we have. Our nation has been at War for over 200 years, and if you call your self a soldier, a marine, a sailor, or an airman, you have stood up to your name. There is a special kind of person to take responsibility for the lives of over 200 million others. You are on the front lines over seas or standing watch here on our soil defending a belief that WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America can live by our Constitution. A Document that has been not only created by the founders but has slowly been destroyed by the current leaders of our country. However, You men and women still find a way to hold our steady our country’s bond. It’s a oath taken at enlistment. Thank you all for everything you do for our country in hopes that one day we will have more dates to add to this list, but instead of having a war to mark the date, it will be a date marking the years we as a world worked together to accomplish something great, something like cure cancer, or possibly discover life outside of what we know and understand. You have answered every call our country has made from 9-11 to Hurricane relief. You have gone to war in the jungles and deserts of other countries to assure that there was no more war here . You have come home to you families a different person, and made sacrifices to assure that we can live the lives of luxury that we are all constantly complaining about.
