Today I attended the conference of russian academy of science. There were 700 scientists there. There were 4 our activists there. We gave 200 cards with our propaganda to scientists. We spoke with ~50 scientists. Our cards called russian scientists to write an open letter to the governments of developed countries demanding the launch of an international project for the victory of science over aging and death with funding of $500 billions per year. It also contained link to the FAQ on Immortality (which I will translate into english sometime later). I also asked my question with microphone: How do you feel about the fact that all together we can persuade governments to launch a great international project victory of science over aging and death?. They mumbled something unclear but positive. I speak also with an academician who heads all the russian fundamental medicine. He supported my feelings and thoughts completely (and he is aware of Aubrey and Teruo) but he was VERY pessimistic about what can be done in order to interest russian politicians or scientists - theyre all incredibly stupid and passive by his opinion. So he is glad to see such my enthusiasm but dont have any desire to make anything himself. Several scientists were very interested with our propaganda and asked us to give them our contacts.
