Today I baked the Caramel Cappuccino Cheesecake as per a request from my sister. I totally forgot how delicious it smells while mixing, baking and, finally, while it cools on the counter. Mental note to self: next request for said cheesecake, make 2! I also started on the filling for the Vietnamese Summer Rolls (i.e. blanching bean sprouts, julienning carrots, wash & dry lettuce) and making the peanut dipping sauce. I will actually make the rolls tomorrow morning, just before she comes by to pick them up. The rolls should be made the day they are to be eaten, but the sauce needs time to develop.
