Today I decided to be innovative and make use of a spare angle bracket. The problem was the lid on the general waste wheelie bin needed to be held whilst you deposited the wate. Either that or let the lid flip fully over. Which then meant you had to go outside to pull the lid back. This is ok if its not wet outside. I live in England. So the old options were: Potentially struggle with one handed scraping whilst the hand was occupied holding the lid, or Flip the lid right over and potentially get wet feet or shoes that need to be taken off or mopping the floor.
