Today I got called lazy because I am a stay at home mother & do not work. I took great offense to this. Mainly because this is the hardest job I have ever had in my life. I dont get breaks every 4 hours, I dont get to quit when I get upset & have a bad day. Im lucky if I get to take a 5 minute shower. I dont have a set schedule to sleep or just in general. Ellie makes up my schedule. Almost all of my clothes are stained from, poop, pee, bleach (from cleaning) grease (from cooking) & etc.... I dont get time to myself. I dont get to interact with people. Sometimes I get jealous of Brian that he gets to go to work and talk to people and get out of The house. The only person I interact with is a 3 month old baby that only giggles & laughs (which I love) My life revolves around my daughter & I wouldnt want it any other way. Im grateful I get to spend everyday with my daughter. I may not be able to buy everything I want for her or be able to pick whatever I want off a shelf for her when I go to a store. But Ellie has everything she needs & more & always Will. So dont ever call me lazy Carley because I am far from it & far from a bad mom. Unlike you I dont need material things to show my baby love.
