Today, I had the chance to meet for two hours at the White House with President Obama, Vice President Biden, Attorney General Holder + some of most inspiring young leaders in our nation to talk about the deep issues that this nation has grappled with after the death of Mike Brown. I could not be more proud of my friends and leaders of our generation who spoke with conviction, often times critically, but always productive about how we can create a much different relationship between the police and communities of color. The President made some solid commitments, both financially and legislatively, and I am grateful for his leadership. Upon reflection from a monumental day, I am reminded of President Obamas commitment to young people. I will always commend him for giving us a seat at the table time and time again. I also recognize the muscle that young people have flexed in the past few years forcing our issues to the forefront. This is our time. This is our future. This is our present. We must keep marching. #Ferguson
