Today, I had to officiate another young black man funeral due to senseless gun violence. He attended our church with his wife. He made others feel valued, and worked hard to make a living. This young man was just saying hello to a friend at the park with his son. A vehicle drove by and open fire on both males, and teenage female. Afterwards, we found out it was mistaken identity. Oh, by the way, it was a black on black violence. So, today I made a decision NEVER TO MARCH OR SPEAK ON GUN VIOLENCE AGAINST CAUCASIAN ON BLACK crime! (example: Trayvon Martin) if, we are not marching wth the same passion & in numbers about BLACK ON BLACK GUN VIOLENCE who am I to say anything to another ethnic group?
