Today, I participated in the Victoria County Veterans Council Memorial Day Ceremony at DeLeon Plaza, where I addressed the crowd to thank all who have served among us for their service and dedication to our country. During the event, several Veterans chapters and local community members from throughout the 27th District gathered for the changing of the colors ceremony and placing of the wreaths in honor of the men and women who lost their lives during both World Wars, the Vietnam War and the Korean War.
