Today I said goodbye to Mr. Darcy. He was a gentle, loving companion to Bridget Jones, Leon II, Pascal, and me. I adopted him six years ago from the Watsonville Animal Shelter. Evidently he spent the first few years of his life hopping around Watsonville until his was captured and taken to the shelter. He and Bridget became a bonded pair and they were inseparable. He is greatly missed. He had a good life, brought much joy and comfort, and I trust that he is already hopping around Rabbit Heaven eating sweet greens and clover. Hop on Mr. Darcy!
