Todays local job lead: Sleep Center Secretary Pulmonary Physicians Inc. The Sleep Secretary is responsible for administrative and clerical work in the Sleep Center. Provides indirect patient care for the Sleep Center including; scheduling appointments, compliance downloads, answering phones, ordering supplies, insurance verifications, obtaining medical histories, quality assurance reports, maintenance/creation of databases and reports, and other office duties required. Education and/or Experience SLEEP EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD EXPERIENCE PREFERRED- ALLSCRIPTS ? High school diploma or GED ? Billing experience helpful ? Completion of medical terminology course preferred ? Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting ? Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing ? Computer knowledge of Word and Excel ? Knowledgeable in skills of patient/customer relations.
