Today I saw how God places you in the right place at the right time. I went to Naifehs and I was in meat department and this little lady beside me started crying. I asked her if she was ok..She said my husband has Alzheimers. I told her about mom and dad. Her hubby is in a facility that costs $2,800.00 a month. She has spent all their lifes savings on his care. She said he, in his sickness, has tried to literally kill her three times. The doctors do not recommend him coming home. She started crying again, how hard it was to shop for one when he was still living. She said he doesnt recognize anyone...and their children are discouraged. She knows she is going to have to move him, but finding the right place, etc. I think we talked, shared and compared funny stories and cried for an hour, I just wanted to bring her home with me. She is a Christian, and has a church family, but she doesnt want to go to church alone. I encouraged her to go..to go to lunch with friends. Her daughter in law has an inoperable brain tumor...her family is hurting in so many ways. She was quite proud to tell me she mows her three acres herself...and drinks buttermilk. (She had beautiful skin...a tiny thing) Please pray for Mrs. Betty...I hope we cross paths again. It was a blessing to meet with her and to pray with her.
